In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Knoll presents the Bertoia Side Chair with a limited edition pink frame. Honoring our roots in Pennsylvania, Knoll will donate all net proceeds to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. This product is only available online during the month of October, but may be purchased through our Home Design Shop throughout the year.
The Bertoia Side Chair is made out of welded steel rods with polished chrome or white powder coat.
Clima Home is proud to feature collections by Knoll Outdoor. Harry Bertoia was a complete and gifted artist. Knoll historian Brian Lutz once said, “Bertoia’s paintings were better than his sculptures. And his sculptures were better than his furniture. And his furniture was absolutely brilliant.” While he only designed one collection of furniture, Bertoia continued to be involved in the Knoll story by providing sculptures and architectural installations for Planning Unit projects. He collaborated with Eero Saarinen to design the altar for the MIT Chapel. He spent the next 25 years of his life experimenting with light, sound and volume through sculptures, paintings and architectural installations.
Available exclusively at Clima Home, check out Knoll Outdoor furniture at our Miami Showroom.
