Sandra Figuerola has explored the different avant-garde movements, from constructivism to Dadaism or Futurism, to create this kilim proposal with powerful geometry and a vibrant chromatic palette. The avant-garde movements are a recurring reference in her work, from which she often draws inspiration as she considers them to have laid the foundations of modernity and contemporary graphic and artistic language.
For the design of the kilims in the Vanguardias collection, Sandra Figuerola has worked by giving more priority to color than to a pictorial geometric approach, seeking a balance between its luminous, vibrant, and sophisticated tones.
