AMANU
When an undersea volcano rises above the surface, an atoll (or circular coral reef) is formed. That’s the science behind the Amanu atoll in French Polynesia, and it’s also the inspiration of AMANU, created by the esteemed design studio Yabu Pushelberg for Tribù. TOSCA
Both the daughter of an architect and a student of architecture herself, Italian designer Monica Armani’s approach is at the same time innovative and disciplined. Her warm and inviting TOSCA collection for Tribù is especially stylish and intriguing thanks to the over-scaled braiding that wraps the frames. Foam mousse encased in a sheath of knitted textilene and polyolefine makes these stunning outdoor pieces both weather-resistant and surprisingly soft to the touch.
CTR
Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of its silhouette; Tribù’s CTR collection is rather complex. A tube of powdercoated stainless steel follows the outline of the chair, chaise, and two-seater sofa in one continuous line. The tubes remain round even when bent at an angle. Simultaneously, the open-weave backrests appear to float unsuspended, lending a distinct lightness of look. It’s all the result of the mastery of Italian designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga at work. The removable, water-repellant cushion makes CTR as easy to care for as it is to fall in love with.
VIS À VIS
An ode to pure design, the beauty of VIS À VIS by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga for Tribù lies in its generous use of premium plantation teak.
