The Patton Pool House Project: Where Marysol’s Chic Meets Steve’s Cool

When Marysol Patton and her husband Steve McNamara invited the CLIMA Home team into their Coconut Grove backyard, they had a clear goal: transform the existing pool house into a seamless extension of their beloved bungalow—a space that would reflect both of their personalities while serving as a backdrop for family time and weekend hangouts.

The Vision

It all began with a walk-through. Marysol and Steve wanted a space that could blend her flair for the fabulous with his laid-back, no-fuss attitude. Together with the CLIMA Home design team, they imagined a poolside retreat that would feel connected to the main house but bring something new—something that invited gathering, lounging, and easy entertaining.

The team got to work, curating pieces that would capture the essence of the Pattons’ lifestyle: stylish, social, and effortlessly relaxed.

The Process

Design decisions were made. Materials were tested. The couple visited the CLIMA Home showroom to experience the textures, colors, and scale of each piece firsthand. From statement seating to unexpected accessories, every selection was part of a bigger vision—a cozy-chic space built for hosting.

Then came the big day: installation. On the Fourth of July, no less. The CLIMA Home team delivered and staged every element of the design, turning the pool house into a fully realized outdoor retreat. The energy was festive, the vibe was easygoing, and the design? Spot-on.

The Reveal

The final result: a modern oasis that’s equally suited for afternoon sunbathing and evening get-togethers. Think bold structure, soft textures, and a curated mix of materials—set off by lush greenery and handcrafted details.

Marysol called it “the coziest, chicest space to enjoy,” and we couldn’t agree more.
