Design Ilenia Viscardi
Quartetto is a personal attempt to transcribe the shapes of nature. At first glance, it is simply a quarter of a circle presented as a finished article but if we combine it with others it can redesign the ambience: with three Quartetto units, we can create a piece of shamrock, adding in a fourth, we create a four-leaf clover, while just a single Quartetto is shaped like a petal.
The coffee table Quartetto, designed by Ilenia Viscardi, resembles the shape of a leaf of a four-leafed clover; it can be a stand-alone unit positioned beside a chair or sofa; alternatively, four of the ‘leaves’ can be combined to create a large round table.
