Tesoro finds its treasure on a ride through all things native. Inigo Elizalde’s third collection in his “Collection” series, the modern designs are inspired by all things Filipino—from jeepneys, antique textile weaves, and barong embroidery to geographical forms such as the Rice Terraces. Tesoro comprises vibrant, native patterns and colors. At the same time, it also features more subtle colors where the traditional Filipino patterns are more subdued. Made of traditional Nepalese weave using loops, the expressive designs are achieved through striking color harmonies, high knot counts, and sheep’s wool. All rugs are made to order, and each can be produced in custom colors, fibers, sizes, and constructions.
