Bover Lighting

Since its inception in in 1996, Bover Lighting has evolved into one of the world’s leading contemporary lighting companies. As is often the case with design success stories, it happened unexpectedly. In this case, Bover arose from a simple sketch on a napkin, drawn by founder Joana Bover as a concept for an architect friend’s project.

Fast-forward decades later, and Bover’s eponymous lighting brand, based in Barcelona, Spain, experiences continued growth while staying true to its founder’s original vision of creating timeless lighting designs balanced with the latest design trends and technologies in lighting.

When it comes to outdoor lighting solutions, Bover transcends functionality, for its pieces are illuminated works of art. Bover’s outdoor lighting collections consist of unique and expertly crafted wall lights, floor lights, bollards, lamps, pendants, sconces, chandeliers, and more. The forms they take are utterly unique. Whether it be a synthetic wicker, woven into a rounded light reminiscent of a sea urchin, or a translucent, tubular floor lamp with a ribbon-like pleating, Bover’s outdoor light fixtures do more than brighten an outdoor space… they elevate it.

Bover collaborates with world-renowned designers, including Alex Fernández Camps, Gonzalo Milà, Rubén Saldaña, and so many others, to continue presenting fresh and stimulating lighting designs – all lovingly made in Barcelona – to the rest of the world.
