History

At its inception, Varaschin—founded by Ugo Varaschin in 1969—and was a small, family-run Italian company with a passion for weaving. Back then, Varaschin’s specialty was rattan and wicker furniture, and while there’s been a massive evolution since in terms of the product and style aesthetic, the generous use of handwoven fabrics persists. The company’s elegant, contemporary designs of today still possess a distinct Mediterranean sensibility, so it’s little wonder that Varaschin furnishes bars, restaurants, and resorts in such coveted coastal playgrounds as Ibiza and Saint-Tropez. Materials Just as Varaschin’s luxurious outdoor furniture brings mind, body, and soul into perfect balance, it brings together beauty, comfort, and durability through the materials it employs. Varaschin’s pieces are fabricated with materials of the highest quality, carefully selected to enhance the product experience and ensure lasting enjoyment. These materials include teak wood, aluminum, steel, bush-hammered ceramic, and high-pressure laminate. Additionally, Varaschin offers a remarkable selection of 220 fabrics—handwoven using synthetic, acrylic-based, water-repellent fibers such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and PVC.

Wellness Therapy

Varaschin has been making luxury outdoor furniture and accessories since 1969, and its appreciation for the concept of wellness was way ahead of its time. Varaschin has made the nourishment of mind, body, and soul a top priority from day one. The brand’s tagline: “Outdoor Therapy” expresses this, and Varaschin Wellness Therapy—which translates the notion into a wellness furniture system—exemplifies it. Alberto Apostoli, considered among the most important professionals in the wellness sector at the international level, is the genius behind Wellness Therapy. The group is comprised of a sun lounger, single bed, and double bed.
