When an undersea volcano rises above the surface, an atoll (or circular coral reef) is formed. That’s the science behind the Amanu atoll in French Polynesia, and it’s also the inspiration of AMANU, a refined, graceful collection of luxury outdoor furnishings created by the notable Canadian design studio Yabu Pushelberg for TRIBÙ. AMANU explores the organic beauty and durability of teak, sourced strictly from sustainably managed Indonesian plantations. Light in appearance yet durable enough to last, this group consists of an outdoor lounge chair and outdoor dining chairs, both featuring woven, hemp-based Canax® sling seats that hang hammock-like from slimline, linear, slimline teak frames. In AMANU, you’ll also find a teak outdoor dining table (available in multiple sizes) with a beautiful ceramic tile surface that’s optimal for meals al fresco.
