Roberti Rattan Furniture

With more than 60 years of experience in the production of contemporary indoor/outdoor furniture, Roberti has maintained a reputation as one of the world’s top furniture manufacturers. From its headquarters in northeastern Italy’s Veneto region, the company continues to preserve its tradition and translates it into dynamic products featuring its original design and quality standards. Roberti believes that outdoor spaces should provide relaxation, conviviality, and beauty fully aligned with nature.

Roberti was founded in 1959 as a family business; today, it exports to more than 50 countries worldwide. Under the brand name Greenfield, Roberti has devoted itself to the outdoor space, combining modern processes and technology with skilled artisanship, elegant design, and high-quality materials that offer durability and weather resistance as well as rich aesthetics and comfort.

The harmonious collection of Roberti’s Italian residential and contract outdoor furnishings and accessories is the result of years of research. The close collaboration between Roberti’s R&D team and its expert architects and designers strengthens the brand’s stylistic image. At the same time, the respect of ethical standards in the entire production process is always part of its mission.

Roberti’s collections of fine Italian outdoor furnishings include dining chairs and tables, bar and bistro furniture, armchairs, sofas, chaise lounges, poufs, day beds, sunbeds, coffee tables, and parasols – not to mention pieces like the Portofino Swing and Gravity Swing Sofa, which have become icons in and of themselves.

Materials

Roberti pays special attention to the environmental impact of its products, with the majority of its materials being recyclable. Aluminum and stainless steel with high-quality powder-coating treatment ensure exceptional resistance to corrosion while remaining respectful of the environment and mindful of not polluting it (volatile solvents are not spread in the atmosphere as happens with liquid varnishes).

Fiberglass, HPL stone and marble, iroko, rope, and a special outdoor cushion system are some of the other materials introduced to Roberti products to guarantee a long life in the outdoors.

Roberti offers a large selection of UV-resistant, made-in-Italy polyproline and polyester fabrics in nearly 60 colors and patterns. They are designed to dry quickly and will not shrink. The paddings are made with materials like polyurethane and polyester, which are covered by a sealed and thermo-welded waterproof liner to ensure that water does not enter. At the bottom of the liner is a polypropylene net that allows the interior ventilation of the cushion to avoid mold stains.

Designers

Roberti partners with a handful of esteemed Italy-based architects and designers to create its striking, original outdoor furniture designs. Collaborators include:

  • Antonio De Marco (Charme Collection), who worked with interior architect Simone Fanciullacci on the Atollo and Lipari collections
  • architect Gian Vittorio Plazzogna and industrial designer Roberto Papparotto (Key West and Hamptons)

  • father-and-daughter Adriano and Veronica Balutto of Studio Balutto Associati (Portofino, Caribe, Igloo, and Saint Tropez)
  • Santiago Sevillano (Capri, Portofino, and Coral Reef)
  • Spanish-born Sisters Maria de les Neues Alos Palop and Laia Alos Palop of design firm Technical Emotions (Oasi, Queen, and Gravity)
