The Nerd family consists of the Nerd Chair and the Nerd Bar Stool, available in several colors to match any design aesthetic. Inspired by a contemporary take on the Scandinavian design tradition, German designer David Geckeler created the Nerd collection for Muuto. The main detail of the slot in the backrest results in a unique intersection of the two chair shells—giving the design an iconic detailing and character. With its unique yet simple Scandinavian look, the Nerd Chair won the Muuto Talent Award in 2011. The Bar Stool edition of the chair is a quirky yet sleek take on the conventional bar stool, destined to look grand at your bar, restaurant, hotel, or kitchen.
