Joseph D'urso

Minimalist design master Joseph D’Urso’s streamlined aesthetic is unmistakable. A significant contributor to the high-tech movement, D’Urso was among the first to incorporate industrial materials into his interior designs; warehouse-like industrial spaces with white walls and exposed beams instantly bring D’Urso to mind. In the 80s, D’Urso collaborated with Knoll to create a collection of “engineered” high and low rolling tables, which embody minimalist design in its truest form, and his return to Knoll in 2008 marked the introduction of the D’Urso Swivel Lounge Chair, a minimalist furniture masterpiece unto itself.
