Alexander Girard

American-Italian product design genius Alexander Girard is best associated as a colorist; however, prior to becoming recognized as one of the greatest textile designers of the 20th century, Alexander Girard designed the Model 108 coffee table for Knoll in 1948. Knoll reintroduced this distinctive coffee table in the early 2000s, and this iconic coffee table by Alexander Girard remains a mainstay of Alexander Girard for Knoll to this day.
