As iconic as Kartell seating is, it’s never been more relevant than it is today. Lightweight, translucent, simple, and visually stunning, Kartell chairs have always been… and forever will be… nothing short of perfection. The luxury designer furniture brand Kartell is responsible for such legendary styles as The Kartell Louis Ghost Chair—designed by the incomparable Philippe Starck. It remains one of the most recognized pieces in the Kartell furniture anthology, and for good reason: The Kartell Louis Ghost Chair is the most daring example of a single mould plastic ever to be created. Taking cues from 16th century Italian architecture, it is characterized by distinctive baroque styling but with a clever contemporary take. The award-winning Masters Chair—a seating masterpiece by Starck in collaboration with celebrated Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet—pays tribute to three of the most notable chairs of all time: Arne Jacobsen’s “Serie 7”, Eero Saarinen’s “Tulip Armchair” and Charles Eames’ “Eiffel Chair”. Through the creative genius of Starck and Quitllett, three icons are rolled into one uniquely transparent, conveniently stackable chair. The Kartell Masters Chair is dynamic in any room of the home and can even be used outdoors.
