BUIT, created by Mayice Studio, was conceived as an ultra-light aluminum mesh carpet interwoven with textile, and when deformed, it would change not only our spaces but also the way we sit in them. BUIT is made to bring visual lightness. As a folding sheet, the visual impact is less than other large furniture and easier to integrate into any surrounding. Since it’s designed using ultra-light materials, the mesh allows water to disappear quickly and prevents dust from settling. However, the Febrik by Kvadrat fabric is resistant and of high quality. The braiding is reminiscent of wool, representing a touch of warmth, which is often missing in outdoor furniture.
