Charivari

The Charivari bench is as entertaining and joyful as its name suggests. The original prototype by Juliette Liberman featured a wooden seat, using the same steam-bending procedure traditionally used by shipwrights when constructing the ribs of boats. For the Fermob collection, she replaced the wooden seat with metal, completely transforming the bench’s look and feel. Featuring curved aluminum slats that appear to be draped like fabric over the steel frame, the Charivari bench is flexible and undulating, as if in constant motion. This piece, which seats up to six people, and with its unique sense of lightness, is sure to bring a touch of magic to your outdoor space.
