The Vibe Armchair and Vibe Lounge Chair, with their soft, pliable weave patterns and cup-shaped shells, offer outstanding comfort. “We made special demands on the traditional weaving techniques to achieve a particularly high level of textural effect,” says renowned designer Hee Welling, who designed the collection with Gudmundur Ludvik, another acclaimed designer. The frames for the chairs are made of hot galvanized powder-coated steel with protective aluminum tubing on the legs to shield the steel from rust and bring a force of gravity. All four Vibe chair legs are solidly planted on the ground in windy weather; this small but important feature, combined with Cane-line’s specially developed high-quality wicker fiber, ensures that every Vibe outdoor furnishing piece — be it the lounge chair, armchair, bar chair, or highback chair — is exceptionally durable.
