An improved design of the classic transatlantic steamer chair, the Barlow Tyrie Commodore Chair, won a design award when first manufactured in 1984 and has been extensively copied since. The Commodore features high levels of comfort and the best materials available. It uses marine quality solid brass fittings plus ergonomically shaped components to give a high level of comfort. The backrest can be reclined to one of four positions to suit any mood. Supplied fully assembled, cushions are available. You can also add a Barlow Tyrie furniture cover made using WeatherMAX®, a modified high UV resistant polyester fabric offering superior strength and durability.
